My blog is a blog is my blog...

I hope this post is going to be the longest one in the past few weeks or even months per se.

It is a not-so-normal Saturday for me. An early morning and a freaking late night. It is more of the things I've did today that are not so normal.

1. Facilitation meeting for the Hong Kong Trip in the morning.

2. Napping due to extreme tiredness.

3. Cycling and suppering at Jalan Kayu with Theng, Joyce and Wei Jian.

Yes, and these are all I did for today. I feel that my weekends are lacklustre recently.

I didn't have the intention to blog actually but after checking mails, Friendster and spending some "quality" time spying on fellow bloggers, I have this sudden heat for blogging.

Let's start with the Cameron Highlands/KL trip with Anqi and her family.

Day 01

Set off from her place at about 8pm. As I sat in the coach, a subtle feeling came into me. Some sort like a kind of euphoria yet reminiscent of the holiday with her last year. So if you guys are avid readers of this blog, then most probably you guys should know. The kind of confident feeling that got me all hyped up last year in the re-pursuit just grew in me but died off again.

Watched "Flight Plan" during the night on the way to Cameron Highlands on my mini. It was a good show with a sudden twist in the storyline. But I helplessly drifted into a state of comatose as there isn't much action initially.

Slept a wee bit on the way after 3am. And only woke up for pee-breaks. Disturbed enough, I didn't sleep well. It was a good thing that the first tour was at 3pm during Day 02 and managed to catch forty winks in the unpleasantly-cold hotel room.

Day 02

The first tour was to visit the agricultural aspects of Cameron Highlands, mainly vegetation, the famous strawberries and "Boh" tea plantations. Kind of interesting to see things like a cactus as wide as about 1.5m and 0.5m tall (enough for Kim to hide in there. Haha!), flower petals that make out the shape of a butterfly and things like that.

Pictures speak a thousand word. So read on because pictures come in later.

Didn't really do much at night. Only had dinner at a nearby village with lots of vegetables. And the dinner for Day 03 consisted of LOTS of vegetables too. And I seriously mean it. Kim should avoid Cameron Highlands. In case you get "chlorophyll poisoning."

Day 03

Ah, Day 03 was more interesting. Visited the natural side of the place. Things like a natural waterfall (expected something more spectacular and magnificent but it turned out to be disappointing) and visiting the morsi-forest (I hope I've gotten the spelling right). Had dinner in the town nearby.

And did I mention that the tour agency that took care of the guided tours in Cameron Highlands had a funny name called "Titiwangsa?"

Day 04

After packing up our stuff, we left for KL at 9.30am . Another torturous 5-hour coach ride in the daytime. Major cock-up because the coach was late for 1.5 hours. In the end, we had a pathetic lunch at the food court in Times Square that started at 4 pm. Frantic shopping with Dearie and her sister and Dearie was walking so fast to look for Sungei Wang Plaza and sadly took us on a major detour that wasted some sweat and about half an hour of precious shopping time. Nothing much there for me to buy, to my disappointment. Wasted a few hours in the plaza with no significant harvests. Went to Chinatown (they call it Petaling Street) nearby with lots of imitations. Adidas, Nike, Oakley and not forgetting the ever-famous and hot Guccis and Louis Vuittons and Christian Diors. Had the best time during the whole trip over there because I bought a pair of "FAdidas" shoes, an "FOakley" shades and a Tag Heuer watch. Damn cheap stuff you can find there.

"我只是花了四十多零吉罢了噢!几开心一下!"

In case you people are wondering why the "F" was there. "FAdidas" stands for "fake Adidas" and the like. Courtesy of Anting (quite funny huh).

Actually when I was walking around in the malls looking at clothes, I realised one thing. For guys, forget buying about clothes over there. I am not trying to sound discriminative here but I have this weird feeling of buying and wearing clothes from there and suddenly feel like a "jiu hu kia".

Sorry for the caustic comment. But just some teeny-weeny bias from the opinionated me.

Day 05

Woke up and had the hotel's breakfast before heading for another round of shopping around a closed shopping mall. Headed back to Singapore after that. Nothing much for that day.
Went out for the primary school outing straight after reaching home. But of course, that was after settling some "disputes" online. Wouldn't want to say too much lest this issue gets out of hand. And hell, I got home at 4 am and started doing some research for the Hong Kong trip. Was braindead after looking through tonnes of traditional Chinese wordings. Slept at 6 am just to wake up at 7.30am again for the meeting. Damn.

Dearie was sweet for buying me a Nike shirt on the 4th day, and I bought nothing for her. But at least I managed to bargain for her LV or Gucci bag. =)

Quarrels were inevitable between the both of us, but managed to resolve them with some compromising here and there. Oh well, just some petty and small issues between the strong and hot-headed us.

Crap.

Didn't blog right after my final paper because I was suddenly too flattened out. Just like a piece of red-hot metal being dipped into liquid nitrogen. No thoughts, no nothing. I just pray for the best for my results and my friends'.

And of course, for my honey. You will definitely do well!

And Eric-san is coming back soon! Get the KEMs like Alan Poh and Ivan to come back also to celebrate this festive season leh.

Enough of words. Let the pictures do the talking. And due to some personal errors, please look at the pictures from the bottom up as they are in the chronological order.

Good night people.
